Promise Neighborhood initiative enters its sixth year of development, aimed at developing Thriving Neighborhoods & Thriving Schools for the nearly 4000 residents and 400 children at Lincoln Elementary. Think Tank contracts with Springfield Promise Neighborhood to promote thriving neighborhoods.
Two youth summits being held, involving over 300 youth & adults coming together to reduce violence, especially among young adults in Springfield.
Developed Reentry Simulation (rollout January 2016)- informed by 4 focus groups consisting of female inmates, male inmates, returning citizens (recently released), Montgomery County Ex Offender Reentry Office and key leaders at Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections.
30 VISTA members served in 14 organizations in 2015

In cash donations and grants have been secured directly by our Americorps VISTA members.
COPE has expanded nationally through a certification process resulting in an additional 21 facilitators being licensed to offer COPE in their community.
Participants reported a shift in their thinking or behavior as a result of the simulation.
Three editions of COPE are now available including a Faith Based edition, College edition and Reentry edition. Youth COPE will be made available in 2016 for students grades 7-12.
Think Tank facilitated 29 COPES impacting just under 2000 people in 2015. An additional 920 people participated in COPES throughout the United States through Think Tank’s network of certified trainers.
Launched rollout of ACTS (REFRAME) tools, in partnership with Fairhaven Church and Chalmers Center at Helping Without Hurting Conference in November 2015 (250 in attendance).
Finalized development of REFRAME & RESHAPE tools for pilot testing
Began ACTS process at Fairhaven Church, which helped to facilitate emerging joint venture that would establish Fairhaven as a Training/Coaching Center for ACTS.
Secured financial commitment for ACTS to be made available in Columbus, Ohio and Alabama/ West Florida in 2016.
Provided content and coaching on the following topics: Holistic Poverty Alleviation, Radical Alliances, Community Engagement, Volunteer Development, Results Management, Leadership & Conflict Management.
