At Think Tank we believe in the power of individuals who’ve experienced poverty to be transformative leaders in their communities. That's why we're on the lookout for exceptional people to join our Change Leader Alliance (CLA) Academy. 

The CLA Academy, a signature program of the Change Leader Alliance, equips you to refine your storytelling and advocacy skills, becoming a powerful voice in the movement to address poverty. 

By joining the academy, you can participate in one or all three distinct learning tracks, each focusing on vital aspects of leadership within the context of community change. Each tract requires a 5-6 hour time commitment, and provides a professional certification upon successful completion.

Strategic Storytelling

In a world driven by constant change, the ability to craft and communicate compelling narratives is a key skill for leaders. This track focuses on honing your strategic storytelling abilities to inspire, educate, and encourage groups to meaningful action.

Consulting for Change

Consulting is a critical skill for leaders who want to guide groups through change successfully. This track delves into the art and science of effective consulting, providing you with tools to listen and guide organizations toward meaningful decisions and actions that makes a real impact.

Advocacy in Action

May 1st, 2024

Advocacy is a powerful force for change, and this certification track is designed to empower leaders with lived experience in poverty to become influential advocates. Participants will develop the skills necessary to engage with community and system leaders, articulating their experiences to drive meaningful policy changes and eradicate the root causes of poverty.
