Partner Spotlight: Open Door Community House
We’re thrilled to celebrate our partnership with Open Door Community House in Columbus, GA, as they recently engaged with Think Tank, Inc.'s newly updated Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE), designed specifically for community partners.
For 90 years, Open Door has been a catalyst for transformation in Columbus, walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate their journeys out of poverty. Through holistic, relationship-centered programming, Open Door creates spaces of possibility where individuals are equipped, encouraged, and empowered to pursue their goals.
Recognizing the power of community-driven solutions, Open Door launched a Circles chapter in Columbus in 2011—a program designed to amplify the voices of individuals experiencing poverty, foster intentional relationships, and provide the tools necessary for people to redefine their future. This community supports individuals in building economic stability, developing leadership skills, and realizing their full potential.
"For meaningful, lasting change to take root, individuals must first see their own worth, recognize their strengths, and understand the systems around them. Circles provides the resources, knowledge, and community connections to help individuals take control of their journey, supported by a network that believes in their success."
Through our partnership, we are honored to stand alongside Open Door as they continue their mission of empowerment and transformation. Together, we are shifting narratives, unlocking potential, and co-creating pathways to a more just and thriving community.
