HOSTING A VIRTUAL COPE
Everything you need to know to host a Virtual COPE.
Thank you for hosting a Virtual COPE!
We hope these resources help you understand the entire process of hosting the virtual training for your group. Please reach out to us if you have further questions at vcope@thinktank-inc.org.
Virtual COPE Roadmap
The Virtual Cost of Poverty Experience has been designed to reflect the experience of poverty in various contexts. Find out how COPE can help your organization have a greater impact.
Preparation
Accessing the training is easy! Participants will log-in via the zoom.vcope.org to join the session. We encourage you to ask your team to join a few minutes early so we can start the training promptly. Logging in from a computer is recommended.
Registration + Attendance
After booking your session, you will receive a unique registration link to share with your participants. We prefer this link is used so everyone can receive reminders before your session, and follow-up resources afterwards. If you are already convening your group and have a registration platform set-up, please communicate that with our team.
How can I know who has registered from my group? We now offer a live-registration report via Google Sheets for you to see who from your group has signed up. You will also be able to see who attended the session, and view the results from our post-session survey, all in one place!
Next Steps + Follow-up
Participants who have registered for your session will receive an email the day after your Virtual COPE to a post survey and an invitation to participate in a 5-day Challenge. This follow-up challenge includes one short email each day, designed to help you reflect on the Cost of Poverty Experience, and consider where you could take action next.
