Benefits + Requirements
The VISTA program has been addressing the needs of low income communities since 1964. VISTA Members strengthen and support organizations by improving their infrastructure, expanding community partnerships, securing long-term resources, training program participants, and developing other activities that help build longterm sustainability for overcoming poverty. Nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, or state or local government agencies are eligible to host a VISTA.

40 hours/week of additional staffing
Increase impact + community engagement
Cost effective program w/significant return on investment
Build capacity + sustainability of programs to address poverty alleviation
Generate new revenue through resource development + grant writing
Requirements:
Provide supervision, office space and support for one full time person
$5,500 Subsite share fee for full time VISTA (paid annually)
$2,400 annual housing stipend fee directly supports VISTA member (paid annually, $200 distributed to member monthly)
